diff b/w windows & web application

    what is the difference between windows application and web applocation.
    where we used the window application and web application
    which application supports database.

    Windows application runs on the user machine where as the web application runs on the server and the output is shown on the user machine.

    When we need them. You cannot have the G4EF forum as an application because All the users will not install the application to see the forum.

    Window Application:
    It has rich GUI and to be installed specifically in a machine for execution. But this drawback is resolved using click once deployement in VS2005.

    Web application:
    It will be exposed over intra or internet and can be accessed via URL.

    Both has the capability to use Databases

    hi
    i have problem on web config
    in authorisation i gave time out as 30 min its is working and redirecting to next page,
    if i gave 1 hour its not working and its redirecting after 30 min
    whats the problem

    its urgent
