what is the difference between windows application and web applocation.

Window Application:
It has rich GUI and to be installed specifically in a machine for execution. But this drawback is resolved using click once deployement in VS2005.

Web application:
It will be exposed over intra or internet and can be accessed via URL.

Both has the capability to use Databases

i have problem on web config
in authorisation i gave time out as 30 min its is working and redirecting to next page,
if i gave 1 hour its not working and its redirecting after 30 min
whats the problem
