I think we should append one more rule :

    • You can post as many answers as you like, but only your last posted answer will be considered.

    Re: Rules and Regulations

No the first correct would be considered and not only the last one.

    Re: Rules and Regulations

    Sorry, I didn't get it !
What do you mean by "first correct" ??

If I post X, Y, Z (in that order) and X is correct, will I be eligible ?
(But, that should not be ! You can't flood thread will all possibilities. You should stick to something.)
(It's a contest. Only one answer should be posted, not the whole dictionary.)

What that would lead to is people would lead to make post with anything and then would edit to the correct one instead of making a new one.

But you have a limitation on "Edit", don't you ?

You can't edit your post after a max time limit.
And even if people edit the answers, they can't copy the answers because we can compare time. ;) You can even compare the changes in the posts.

And, why should the examiner be bothered about how many times a student uses eraser ?
Examiner only examines the final answers.
(Moreover erasers can't erase ink : once something is posted, you can't ERASE it, you can only modify it which can be detected)

i think you should be allowed to post once, one answer, no edits. the questions are not that tough that we should make a lot of edits i think.

Also if its ambiguous then let the admin or priyad decide upon it. also for its future cases..
but if the question is incorrect, no one should be a winner even if one got it right close or exact. cause it may happen someone got the answer but he didnt post it looking more to be sure.

Hmmm.. I don't agree. You have every right to change your answer till Priya/shabbir confirm that somebody has already posted the correct answer.
Even I don't like the idea of Editing Posts, but I think posting multiple posts is OK. Questions might not be tough, but I might change my mind anytime.
But, ONLY my last post will be considered as my answer.

    +1. :iagree:
