Official Thread to nominate your favorite article of the month.

There is no restriction to how many you can nominate so just go ahead for all the article you liked as well as you can Nominate your own articles which you think could win in the voting competitions.

Go4Expert will be offering the following.

    1. $25 as prize money payable in Paypal or direct transfer to your bank account if you have a bank account in India
    OR
    1. Amazon Gift certificate of $25 if you are not able to get money in Paypal
    OR
    1. Reebok T-shirt with G4EF logo delivered right at your doorstep.

    2. A premium wordpress theme for your blog / wordpress site worth $50.

    1. You can Nominate your own Article.
    2. Do nominate articles once again if they are already by some other members as that would mean in the final poll it is not dropped just for lesser nominations.

In that case, pankaj.sea's article "Stay Online While Cable Internet Is Not Available!" does not qualify for nomination.

    Details :

I was just checking all the nominated articles, and found this article as the exact duplicate of above :
    http://www.mzwriter.org/stay-online-while-cable-internet-is-not-avilable.html.

May be both are posted by pankaj.sea, but the rule clearly says, articles should not be posted on multiple sites.

Here I've to say something man!
May be its out of rules but I'm 300% sure that your mentioned article is a copy of mine because <"

    Introduction

Hello Once Aging Guys! : mean:"> all the codes of smileys are as text in that particular site as they have copied from here! If their site is smiley enabled then why should they display the code?

Thats my bad luck that my article is out of compition!

    Thankz!
    ;)

    May be

    Exactly ! That's the point !
Let's dig deeper ... I see your article, I copy it and I paste it here ... see what I get :

    --- COPIED TEXT ---
    Introduction
    Hello Once Aging Guys!
    --- END ---

    I don't get the

s ! The Introduction appears as normal text !

What I am trying to say is ... If some one tries to copy your article, he can only copy what's AVAILABLE to him. He cannot, by any means (except hacking), copy what's not available to him.

You write an article, you submit it here. After getting approved, it's available to the members and in general, the public. If someone tries to copy your article, he would only copy the text, not the BBcode tags, smileys etc..
After a specific period, even you don't have access to your article's source-code (I didn't find a better word), because you can't edit it.

So, how can someone copy your article with all the

s, smileys etc.? Try to copy your whole article and paste in notepad. See if you get even a SINGLE

    or smiley.

Now, to gain access to your articles source-code, there can only be 3 ways :
    (1) the site admin can obviously access your article's source-code. But, I don't think he would (or he needs) to copy your article.
    (2) someone hacked your G4EF account and tried to edit your article before it's locked for any further edits.
    (3) you yourself copied the articles source-code directly and pasted it there.

I don't know which one of these options is the reality, neither do I want to comment on it.

    Better luck next time :)

You would see that if you copy using RSS you get exactly the same code as on that site.

    http://feedproxy.google.com/g4ef-80/

So its the original Article here and copied on there from this site and so it remains as the contender for AOTM

Thanx for the clarification shabbir. What you said is 100% right; that the article was copied from here. I have a reason to believe that now : Not only that one, *MANY* others articles were found there.

    Sorry, pankaj.sea ! :embarrass

Why are not the other members (i mean excluding the original authors), nominating articles ?
