    dvd drive problems please, need help

    Do you have a driver disk for that laptop? Is it still under warranty? did you ever uninstall anything like DVD-RAM driver?

    Wi. XP Pro works fine but Can't enter BIOS w/ F2 or Get C prompt with BootDisk.

    even if the F2 button does not show then you are still able to go into the BIOS by pressing F2 when the computer is started, load setup defaults...

    If the router does not block the tracert then it has to be the AV, I googled how to get the AV password and some said its in the registry...
