    If you are a student (as I am) you can get free access to microsoft msdn and are allowed to download windows 7 for free and totally legal.

    2) You are a Software Developer (Freelancer or a Company) you can enroll for the BizSpark and get Windows 7 along with lots more software free and legal..

    3) You are a Web Designer you can enroll for the WebsiteSpark and get the Windows 7 along with lot more software free..

    4) You are a Microsoft MVP this makes you a king you get lots and lots of software free...
    There are no other legal ways to get the software free...
