We are developing a desktop application and the current mode we are using to display the content in the active desktop uses ActiveX controls, but this is not the best method to do this. Some active desktop tools we saw are able to put the content inside a window and display it behind the icons. Also Bspalyer has a mode named desktop mode that can do this. We are trying to find out how this could be done. Any help is highly appreciated.
