I've created a bare MFC dialog app with no added code. When I open the resource window, the dialog resource is not displayed correctly--there are no vertical/horizontal scales. Also, I am unable to drag controls into the box. When dragging controls from the toolbox, the small outline appears, but when dropping onto the dialog box, there is no control. This appears to be a display issue, but I've tried a different monitor and driver and the behavior his indentical. I've uninstalled the package and removed all traces of VS2005 as well as .NET and reinstalled and the problem still exists. In a C# app, the form appears normally. Has anyone experienced this before? Any idea on a solution? Thanks.
