Hey  Now im currently learning C# as a first language and because i need to use it in a few months. I've gone through a couple of books and know some basics :undecided. Now my mum teaches adults on general PC use and she said their main problem is that the student have problems with basic use of internet explorer eg moving files copy and paste etc. So immediatley i though well theres a first project :shy: I want to make an interactive type program as my first solo project to be able to aid them. I wanted to have 2 sections in it. The first would have for example Videos of me performing the tasks which have already been made. Now the second section I would like to make a mini Windows environment with a desktop and couple of fake folder within the application, and then very very simple functionality eg the program would say now right click and when the user did right click a Window's style menu would come up with eg Copy, paste etc. Just something for them to walk through. So my question is how difficult would it be to get that sort of functionality and interactivity? I would need somewhere to start but could probably figure out most of it. I think the main problem would be things like when the move a folder actually getting the program to display that :sosp:. Unless of course this is to difficult in C#?
Thanks for the reply :shy:, was getting worried. Ok so I could always delve into flash. Do you know a good place to learn flash? Ive only done very very basic flash eg making a red circle "ball" move up and down with Adobe flash CS4. But stepping stones lead you to the primary goal.
