Hello friends i want to know How is SEO different from SEM?
SEO is only organic search results and SEM is SEO + PPC.
The basic difference between SEO and SEM is that SEO is an unpaid method of optimization, whereas SEM is a paid method of optimization.
Looking at it as paid and unpaid is not right because you may need to be paying SEO people as well.
I know, but in case of SEM, you have to pay for SEO people as well as for Google Adwords. That means, It is a double expense for the owner.
Thank you all for valuable information...
Depends on ROI in everything and does not matter how and whom you pay.
But for small businesses, it matters a lot...
search engine optimization is “the process of maximizing the number of visitors to a particular website by ensuring that the site appears high on the list of results returned by a search engine.”
“Search engine marketing is a form of Internet marketing that involved the promotion of websites by increasing their visibility in search engine results pages (SERPS) through optimization and advertising.”
The difference between SEO and SEM is simply that Search Engine Optimization is part of Search Engine Marketing or Search Marketing as it is widely known.SEO is about optimizing your website to get higher rankings in the organic search results while SEM goes beyond SEO.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is part of Search Engine Marketing (SEM). Search Engine Optimization is working for better results of your website in organic method but on the other hand, Search Engine Marketing processes in which we purchased add for gaining website traffic.
