memory mapping

    I would like to know the rationale behind memory mapping.....

    Help me pliz.....

    memory mapping was designed so that there is no collusion of instructions when the processr processes the requests.its just a convinient way to reduce the processor time trying to locate where the problem i sinstead of processing.the interupting device is easily located with memory mapping than when it is not there.
    thats the rational behind memory mapping
