i,ve changed the login screen(that accepts the user name and passwords) by accessing the features available in linux(redhat 9) itself and from then the system is getting crashed whenever i try to get logged in.please reply any suggestions regarding this problem.
Hello Rahool First of all welcome to go4expert. Now regarding the change of login screen You can use either of GDM, KDM, XDM but if you want to customize the login screen you need to change the configuration. Now sometime changing the conf results crash of login screen and you will be unable to login again and so let me know what changes you have made and what errors if any it displays so that I can figure it out where is the error.
