    Salary: Based on experience
    Location: North America/Telecommute
    Hours: Minimum of 10 hours per week


    Job description

    3D-Cellular is a Montreal based company, specializing in innovative software solutions for the wireless communications industry. We are currently looking for a Visual Basic programmer with good analytical skills, problem solving abilities, object-oriented development techniques and solid experience with Visual Basic 6 in a development environment.


    Technical Skills

    • Visual Basic
    • Visual SourceSafe
    • Oracle, Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server
    • Analytical and problem solving skills
    • Structured, logical approach to development
    • Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly
    • Ability to quickly understand and modify existing code
    • Sound understanding of components and their use

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Software Engineering
    • 5 years of experience with technical analysis, design & programming

    Additional Requirements

    • Strong self-motivation and a positive, flexible attitude
    • Ability to work well independently or with a team
    • Fluent spoken English and good, clear writing skills
    • A genuine passion for software development
