    Hi

I just wanted to know if it is possible to find someone's IP address thats chatting on a IRC server. That is chatting on a normal IRC website, not mIRC, just a normal chat site like http://www.ychat.co.za where you log in with your username and password and start to chat.

If it is possible to get the IP of the person you are chatting with, please will anyone tell me how?

    Astalavista! :D

I know that the system admin can see my IP, but then how do a normal user see your IP with only knowing your nickname?

The easiest way is to get that person on a private messenger, and while in private run netstat, you should be able to see he's Ip.
