Key word density is one of the important factors in SEO point of view, Optimum keyword density level will make your site or blog more search engine friendly. But high keyword density results in keyword stuffing which is considered as 'spamming' by Google. People have different opinion about the optimum level. Usually 2-3% is considered as the optimum level.
