ok well good news and bad. ill start with the good. i figured out how to install stuff ^^. and i got limewire installed and working^^. that makes me=happy. but the bad news is that when i play the songs it sounds like someone half tuned a radio between two stations and kicked it down the stairs. that makes me=sad. so will i have to install a different audio driver? i think that is the easiest fix. i installed fedora on my laptop. if that means anything. also none of the music player besides limwire will play my music. so it could just be limewire, maybe.
wats ur sound card driver in windows. in linux u'll be given with ALSA driver think. Find a linux supported drive for ur sound chord.
