Web Developer Silver Communications, a successful branding and design New York agency with a financial industry client base, is looking for a short-term to long-term freelance Web Developer. A successful candidate for this position is an exceptionally well-organized self-starter who has a strong sense of responsibility and works well as part of a team. You would be involved in a number of various projects helping our clients strengthen their web presence. Skills • Minimum 4-5 years experience in web development, preferably for institutional clients, professional community sites, and e-commerce products. • Significant track record in transforming design mock-ups into highly usable HTML/CSS/JavaScript/DHTML/PHP/ASP websites. • Expertise in producing W3 compliant, cross-platform and cross-browser compatible code. • Experience developing interfaces intended for high-traffic online destinations with users of a variety of skills and levels. • User Interface/User Interaction expertise. • Ability to integrate HTML/CSS front ends with backend systems. • Working knowledge of common CMS • Understanding of design basics and principles. • Meticulous attention to detail.
