Hi, I have created a project that utilises Java Media Framework to transmit and receive streams. I am looking to write an article on current and existing technologies that may also exist like JMF. Whilst streaming in general can be categorised as the use of downloading a file and waiting for the content or Video on demand, I am unsure as to what else I as a indivudal can write about. If anyone can help me out with any other technology that allows the user to create and transmit streams, preferably in terms of java or even generically, whether it be a application or software, your insight would be greatly appreciated.
