Disk and CPU scheduling algorithm in Unix and Linux?

    Hi everybody,

    This is my first post. I am a newbie to Unix and Linux. I am preparing for my exam I hope this site would help me.

    Could you please tell me which disk scheduling algorithm and CPU scheduling algorithm is used in Unix and Linux?
