How to detect the presence of floppy in the drive

Hello,
how can we check whether there is floppy present in the floppy drive?
Using Win32 APIs?
I tried using DeviceIoControl() function, but could not guess which IOCTL_XXX constant would help me?

Or is there another way? plz help.

 

I am not sure that will help you to detect the media but I think you should give a read file and if there is an error catch it to judge its not present.
