Compiler for c++ needed with ide.

    Hi all,i'm new to programming but been very interested in it for a bunch of years.I'm looking for a downloadible compiler for c++ that uses ide and not only command prompt.Got a couple of books like c++,A beginners guide by Herbert Schildt,c# by John Sharp etc.Any help,please.

    google thefreecountry for a list of freeware compilers available for different OSes. evidently, this site forbids direct links in posts.

    It has been done to stop allowing people to spam the forums for links. The restriction is removed once you have double digit post count.
