I have done my Engineering in electronics and communication. Afterwards, I started working into embedded domain. I made GIF decoder in c language, Linux. Thereafter, I worked for automotive company - PWM driver ( hardware timer programming), temperature control - algorithm ( I applied straight line equation over there), interrupts (ISR) configuration etc. I was paid low over there. Afterwards, I moved to STB domain - here integration, Linux, C/C++ programming, and qt. I am paid better than my previous company. Also, I am finding it not closely related to machine. It is more of application. There is not much pressure here. HOwever, my friends, who are in other domains like Banking, insurance, retail they keep traveling a lot. So, I am not sure whether the opportunities are more in other domains like Banking, etc. What should be the best career path for me? I want to make money. Also, I want a growth quick. Secondly, If I have to choose between MBA and MS, what should I choose. My requirement is simple - money and good position. I want to choose a career path, where I can excel easily. If MS, then what should be the branch, which will help me to justify my career of 10 years. If MBA, then what should be the specialization, which will help me to justify my career. Please help me here. I need a good advice.
