I have been constructing a web application using C# for the code behind language. There is a possibility of integrating my application with a commercial venture, however the parent application is written in Cold Fusion. Is Cold Fusion considered the 'state of the art' in web programming? Would it be difficult to merge the two applications?

    Thank-you for your advice.
