autosuggest + mysql

I would like to make a simple autosuggest but i don't understand why my code is not running.
Help me please!

Are you getting any specific errors??

 

I give this code in the web, and i change some code. But, i think that's some parts are not correct.
For example, in the Select, at the final:, what it's $val???
and the <li> is correct???

i don't see and specific error because I don't see nothing
