automating a look up on a form

    I have a form that is based on table A. I have the name and address fields from table A displayed on the form. I like to be able to have the program lookup the value in the last name field in table B (which also has name and address info). And if the last name exists in table B, I'd to have it display on the same form for comparison's sake. If the last name doesn't exists, I'd like the program to add a new record to table B and add the fields from table A to table B for that new record.

    I'd like to be able to go through the process for all the records in table A (which will probably be around 20 or so each time). A 'Next' command button would be fine to use.

    Make any sense? :crazy:
