Well i was wondering is there a program out that lets you connect to a server on port 80 and lets you see all the files on the server as a list view like in an ftp client. So basicly just an ftp client that will connect on port 80 instead of port 21? Is this possible. Thanks for your help
It's possible if the web server shows a directory listing, you can write a client which parses the HTML (the directory listing) and outputs its like you want. Its near to impossible if the server doesn't show the directory listing and/or every directory has it's own index/default page. The download manager Flash Get, does what you want to a considerable extent. Try it out to get some idea. You can get it here.
