Hello Everybody, I've been reading a few posts and this seems to be a fairly nice place, unlike some other forums I could name. I'm a C++ (and C, if I must) programmer with a few years experience with the Windows API. I also know a little Perl since I've found it useful for processing text files, mass renaming, etc, but I'm no expert. I also used to love assembly language but that was a long time ago. I remember liking MIPS much better than x86, but who doesn't? I'd like to learn MFC. I've tried a couple of times but gave up. I don't mean to suggest that I didn't understand it (I'm a programmer, so I won't admit that!), but it is rather involved and I haven't been able to get myself to put in the requisite effort. I'm also hoping to play around with Python since it seems interesting. However, I notice that there's no Python forum here. This looks like a big forum, so I hope there's room for me, but I don't wish to step on anyone's toes. Aesop.
