Hello there, good morning means a begin point to me, so dont blame me out there if now its not morning ya... I'm Peter, 20, single. i just started my studies at local university in Malaysia, which is named UTM(University Teknologi Malaysia). I took Computer Science degree (network and security). Personally is very interested in computer programming and field i studying. My English is not that good, still learning as much as i can. My lecturer uses "Starting out with C++" by Tony Gaddis as main textbooks, so i'm usually using Borland C++ compiler when practising programming in lab. Well, for your information my faculty doesnt provide us with the Compiler, and i still couldnt find one for myself(some compiler i dont understand how they operate, haha :P). Finally, i'm VERY VERY glad that i found this Forum as to learn more about C++ and other coding programming in future!! Thank you everyone !
Peter, welcome to the community and about your compiler these days MS is providing the MS VC 2005 Express edition free for download and if you are on Windows can use that.
www.bloodshed.net/devcpp.html <-- i use the latest, it is very good. P.S. I could never get MSVC++ to work... :-/
