Nexus is official entry to cell phone market for Google. There are near about 50 mobile devices are running with Android OS but you call this mobile as unique. The features and the style are totally unique than other androids available at the market. Let’s dig deep into Google Nexus One! Nexus one is one of the HTC build mobile devices. A sleek, streamlined phone that can easily go toe-to-toe with the iPhone 3GSs, Pres, and Droids of the world, powered by the latest version of Android (2.1 "Flan," if you're counting), and hand-retooled by Google. The WVGA touchscreen is a treat to look at and it’s only the second AMOLED display to find on an Android handset. D1 video is sure to sweeten the deal too, and perhaps so will the Live Wallpapers. Main Features: Quad-band GSM and dual-band 3G support 7.2 Mbps HSDPA and 2 Mbps HSUPA support 3.7" 16M-color capacitive AMOLED touchscreen of WVGA (480x 800 pixel) resolution Android OS v2.1 with kinetic scrolling and pinch zooming Slim profile and some great build quality Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 1 GHz processor 512 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM 5 MP Autofocus camera with LED flash and geo-tagging D1 (720 x 480 pixels) video recording @ 24fps Wi-Fi and GPS with A-GPS MicroSD slot, bundled with a 4GB card Accelerometer and proximity sensor Standard 3.5 mm audio jack Micro USB port (charging) and stereo Bluetooth v2.1 Trackball navigation The basic design of the Nexus One is based on dark gray color and this can easily compete with iPhone. Also this mobile comes with 3G feature and a CDMA version also; hence you can fulfill your all mobile dreams together in Google Nexus One. The body of the handset is comprised of what appears to the eye as two interlocking pieces, a main, dark gray housing (coated in a soft-touch treatment) which is intersected and wrapped by a lighter gray, smooth, almost metallic band. HTC has managed to get the thickness of the phone down to just 11.5mm, and it measures just 59.8mm and 119mm across and up and down, so this is too tiny to use and you can feel too comfort while taking in hand. On the glass-covered front of the device there are four "hardware" buttons (just touch-sensitive spots on the display) laid out exactly as the Droid's four hard keys: back, menu, home, and search. Clearly this is going to be something of a trend with Google-approved devices. The 5 mega Pixels autofocus camera really works fine. The focus of the camera is fine and captures snaps in seconds. There is no HTC related common issues with the camera hence this can be also a great imaging device (at least for me when it has a 5 MP autofocus camera)! The futures as a mobile phone it’s as simple as the other GSM devices you have used. The earpiece and mic quality so good and providing a reasonable loud experience but the loud speaker is so tiny for human beings. Its sound quality is too low for conference calls, so you may get trouble while using the old speaker! Also this droid has a good internet speed in comparison to other droids, the basic download speed on the mobile is around 559 Kbps, and hence the overall phone features are good except the loudspeaker! Disadvantages: No DivX and XviD video playback No Flash support for the web browser (update is on the way) No smart and voice dialing Somewhat clumsy camera interface and limited camera features No dedicated camera shutter key Non hot-swappable memory card No FM radio The soft keys below the display are somewhat unresponsive. Like other Androids, the Nexus One forces you to store apps on the internal memory. The media player remains average, and it's missing some wanted features like hands-free Bluetooth dialing. Currently, Outlook Calendar syncing is not available. My Opinion I don’t know how much you love to collect mobile phones. No doubt Nexus One is one of the best Androids available in market but there are too many disadvantages in the phone feature, basically the loud speaker. Except these things Google Nexus One rocks! So, if you think that you can manage those points, hopefully you will be happy with this Droid!
Thanks for your long writing which shows me so many speecific points about Nexus phone. I am not a collect for phones, but I will pay attention to the tech information, that is sharing on hands.
