Some = ?? Is is according to the Rep Power of the user who says "Thanks" ?? If so, what about those with Rep Power 0 ?? If not, what's the basis ??
but i don't see the point of having rep through thanks button as there is rep button for that! Personally thank you buttons is more of to say you liked the post, or keep it up or something, or you appreciate someone replying it to you... nothing special. Rep shouldn't be mixed with this, else rep would loose its presence...
Correct. Thanks will add value to just that specific post, while reputation will add value to the member
