Yes, SEO can be expensive. A friend of mine is spending a lot of money for his ecommerce Web site, but the results are not great and they don't guarantee the improvements will last. You're better off learning it on your own with books and online tutorials...

Been reading articles about SEO recently and they say "It is not an exact science" as it highly dependent on other resources like google and other search engines. I also agree this process being a continues process.
