Remove Directories/Files in Windows OS

    unable to remove directory.
    I have installed the Windows OS.
    To access the GNU tools i have installed the cygwin.
    I am also using eclipse and this eclipse has created a multiple folders and i am not able to delete these folders.

    $ rm -r d1/
    rm: cannot remove `d1//d2/d1/d3/d2/d2/d/d1/d/d/d/d/d/d/d/d/d/d/d/d/d/d/d/d/d/d/d
    /d/d1/d/d/d/d/d/d/d/d/d/d/d/d/d/d/d/d/dtc1798_system/d/d/dtc1798_system/dtc1798_
    system/dtc1798_system/dtc1798_system/dtc1798_system/dtc1798_system/dtc1798_syste
    m/dtc1798_system': File name too long

    From the cygwin prompt, i have issued the above cmd.And it pops with the below Err message.
