Hi all, I have a question Does somebody here can make of have a script that i can use. That with that script i can see wich version of msn my friend have or anybody in my msn list. Thnx Greetz
That raises two obvious questions: Why would they lie about the version of msn they're using, and why does that matter to you?
often they lie about the version and that was not my question why does that matter.... Its for private use so plz can anybody help me
Because they dont send me a screen of it that they can proof that they have that msn. So dont ask stupid questions Can somebody help me now :snore:
LOL ! Nice inquiry xpi0t0s !! plupke : <bla bla bla> xpi0t0s : <bla bla bla> plupke : <bla bla bla bla> xpi0t0s : <bla bla bla bla> plupke : <bla bla bla bla bla> xpi0t0s : <bla bla bla bla bla> LOL  I don't think you can know your friend's MSN Version from your system, because may be that information is not shared with your MSN messenger. In the first phase, when the user signs in, the version information of the user is sent to the host. After the user is connected to the host, you talk to him or vice versa. That's the second phase. Version information in most probably not shared in this phase.
heh, I like the way that it's ME asking stupid questions. Why on earth does it matter what version of MSN someone's using? All cool dudes use ICQ anyway; MSN's installed by default for pussies who don't know how to install decent IM software. Perhaps the way you know that they're lying can lead to a way of determining programmatically what version they're using. Cos if you know, then there must be a way to determine it (because you just did, unless of course YOU are lying), and if there's a way to determine it then there's a way to program it. But hey, what do I know with only 29 years of programming experience. Obviously I'm stupid. Oh, and LOL@Saswat too. "may be"..."probably"...your post is nearly as useless as mine have been as you're only guessing!
May be onto something here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/microsoft.live.messenger.capabilities.version.aspx
