Hi all,

My target is to develop and online web site (intra-net / LAN) for our department manuals and standard operating procedures. One way is to simply make directories within web's root and link up all the files to pages BUT that can make the end user able to download the information

My second goal is to secure this information as well. i.e. No one would be able to download this information to their system. Only Read-Only.

Can you suggest a quick, simple solution ?

I don't understand why do you want your user only to see and not download???

Anything that appears on browser gets downloaded and then can be accessed from Cache directory.
