Mysql regular expression query

    Hi Friends
    i am new with regular expression.
    I need a mysql query which can search string in a particular fiels with following patterns.

    1. Search AJ without space
    2. Space befor AJ
    3. Space After AJ
    4. Space between AJ
    5. . symbol between AJ

    Please help me my table name in soldier and field name is initial in which i have to apply sql query.
