I think investing in SEO services is a big waste of money because SEO companies and consultants simply do a little bit of work to show some improvement, so that they can bill more hours to the clients to do a little but more work and show more results and so on and on, and the results are not even guaranteed. On other words, it's better to learn it on your own with a few good books and the many good free resources available on the net and do it yourself even if it might take a longer time to achieve results.
