Description of Position
Including application, project & range responsibilities) This position is responsible for execution of analysis, design and development of middleware development projects. Person in this position will also be responsible for Customer implementation projects. Position requires collaboration with customers, engineers,internal application groups and project managers. Position will also require documentation & presentation of solutions/architcture to management, peers & collabrating groups.Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: (including # of years of experience by skill) The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience working with middleware technologies ( Message oriented Middleware, JMS, J2EE, Data transfer protocols such as FTP, SFTP , AS2 & data encryption/decryption using PGP/GPG) in complex unix environments. The candidate should be very familiar with the Unix environments; scripting in Unix environments and posses detailed knowledge of message oriented middleware technologies. Knowledge of IBM Websphere MQ , Java/J2EE & are critical requirements; Knowledge of Spring framework/Hibernateis is desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed for the position, as the job will entail interaction with other engineers, project managers, and customers. Analysis and design skills should be highly developed, and the candidate should be able to take responsibility for project completion and success.
