Via One (http://www.viaone.com) is a privately-held global prepaid transaction processing and enhanced mobile services company We are opening a software R&D center in Montreal We are looking for an experienced J2ME user interface developer. Responsibilities : You will start by working on new modules of an existing J2ME application. You will then progressively take the lead on user interface developments on the whole application. You will be in charge of all the GUI and ergonomics aspects You will also work with a product managers to develop their ideas into prototypes. You will be fully responsible on the development side of this application. You will be involved in the development of the user interface of the Google Android version of the application(s). Qualifications : You have already worked on a commercial j2me application as a user interface developer or designer. You have years of experience in Application User Interface design and development. you can easily go into the code of someone else, understand it and continue it. you have an excellent understanding of ergonomics and can deliver application that are extremely user friendly. you have very good communication skills and are capable of converting someone's idea into a corresponding prototype very quickly.
