I want to install IIS manager so i followed the following steps:

    1. Place the Windows XP Professional CD-Rom into your CD-Rom Drive.
    • If the Windows XP installation window pops up just EXIT.

    2. Go to 'Add/Remove Windows Components' found in 'Add/Remove Programs' in the 'Control Panel'.

    3. Place a tick in the check box for 'Internet Information Services (IIS)' leaving all the default installation settings intact.

Even after following these steps I am not able to install.

    Kindly help.

Is there a folder on your C drive that's named Inetpub? well, if there is then you have it installed, you just need to configure it, but if you have any other problems then get yourself Apache for windows, its allot easier to configure and use.
