I hope this can help you.last month my sister meet the same problem, and then we solved it as follow. There is a way to reset the password and it doesn't involve reformatting and reunstalling Windows. The solution is called Windows Password Key 8.0. It is the most popular and safe solution for resetting your Windows password until now.

I am wondering if you can access safe mode on your pc. if yes, boot your pc and press F8 for advance startup options. choose safe mode. control panel, open computer management in administrative tools. in the left pane of the window, click local users and groups, click on users. right click the user whose password u want to reset. click on set password, a pop up appears but ignore it or if u like read. click on proceed. restart.
Actually, this works perfectly for xp. I hope it works for vista as well. |
