Hi folks,

Latest update from Google is - Google search is now even bigger. Google has made the search box, search box text and the ‘Google Search’ and ‘I’m Feeling Lucky’ buttons bigger. The bigger search box will show both on the home page and on the top of Google’s search results pages.

Google’s Marissa Mayer says the bigger search box is better because the text you type is larger, and the Google Suggest dropdown text is also bigger.

Initially i also thought the same that there was some problem with the font or something with my browser.

But big search box is very convenient.

HATE IT! the larger text throws everything off, and looks pretty bad. Google made a mistake with this one. Google firstly should have notified people this was happening. They should have at least given a choice to change it's size. This change makes no sense. Google was already used by virtually everyone and I don't recall anyone complaining that the text was too small.

Do you mean they should notify 1 billion people that they are changing the design. No one has opted to get that notification and Google would become spammer then.
