When they crawled they may saw it as same. Check the cache.
Also duplicate meta does not matter at all. |

Yes duplicate meta data does not matter in search engine ranking. You can have same meta data for two of your pages.

Check the crawling date. Most probably the day your website has crawled have same descriptions on both URLs.
