I’ve come across a tool to add to sites I do that translates everything free (http://www.appliedlanguage.com/trans/free_quick.aspx), only downside is a link back to the providing site – that I can see of anyway?? Anybody used it or know how good it is??

No i never used this site and i don't want to use this.
I always used google for my translation.
My opinion about this site, few languages and site takes so much time for loading.

I never really found a use for automated translation. If you want your site translated, you should hire someone to do it.
