hello everyone
can anyone tell how can one learn to edit registry
its very confusing
means even though there r many tweaks n tools which can be used to bring a change
but i want to know what represents what
like what r different values,what r all possible values of a VALUE
and what are all the different folder icon representing when we open regedit

There is no handbook for editing registry because MS has not published any and the best way is trial and error method and if something work on the given OS rest assured it will not work in the next version.
