1) http://www.domain.com
And
2) http://domain.com

Why search engines did not prefer ?
which one is the best ?
How we can use 301 Redirect for this issue?

www is a subdomain of domain.com and if you are using Apache on Linux you can easily do that by adding few lines in your .htaccess file

I think,http stands for Hypertext Transfer Protocol its a protocol and www is a subdomain and stands for world wide web. www is not a protocol.
