Hi all ! We are using CLIENT / SERVER architecture in our college labs. For client we are using thin clients which are having 256 mb of ram and we are using XEON processor based server which is having 2 gb of ram. At a time, 50 clients are connected to the server and the processing which is being used at that time is just 30% hardly. But whenever C program is being compiled, turnaround time increases a lot, no program can be compiled. We are using TURBO C Compiler. I think we should just change the compiler. But I want to have suggestions from the experts here that what are the other options I can go for .................
