How to Block Certain Websites

    I Am Working on windows 2003 and I have Internet Connection in it. I Want to block some sites how can I

    You can block those in the Host File

    There is a very simple way of blocking the sites on your pc without using the third party software.

    Just go.......
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

    there you see “hosts” file ….open it with notepad and at the end type the following:
    127.0.0.1 abc.com
    i m taking the example of abc.com
    save and exit.

    If you have a router then you can block it there for certain IP's or for all IP's, and use different policies as you want, depending on your router that is..
