Benefit of Directories submission !

Directory submission is the way for indexed your site. If the directory site is a high pr then you will find the backlink also.

 

directory submission helps to get back links. and more the quality backlinks to your site, higher will be the page rank of your site.

 

Directory submission helpful in to improve ranking for the the site as well as traffic.

 

The result is time taken when you use the directories for promote your sites, it's a long term process. Now a days its only use for the indexing of the sites.

 

When I first launched my new site last year, I spent an awful amount of time doing directory submissions because I thought it was the right thing to do. I must have submitted manually to hundreds of free directories, but I got very few actual links from it.
Most had waiting lists of months before sites would be considered, and many of them wanted a reciprocal link even though there was no guarantee I would actually get mine in return. Very few of them had any PR of value, and those that did usually had a fastrack paid option and an even longer wait if I opted to submit for free.
So I gave up on the idea, deleted the reciprocal links I had given, and spent my time more productively. Every now and then I get an acceptance or a refusal from directories I submitted to many months ago, but basically it was a waste of time and effort.

 

The oldest use of this (excluding the added on "Thank you for your valuable tips") that I could find is from Nov 2009:

but it has been used around 15 other times since then that I can easily see. This is an extract from a much larger article, at the end of which is this statement:

"Copyright information This article is free for reproduction but must be reproduced in its entirety, including live links & this copyright statement must be included."

I hope they don't see this then....

Directory submission is one of the million ways to promote our site in search engines websites and I think, it still works---it help us in ranking and good backlinks.
