In this day of twitter and OMG abbreviations, isn’t everybody so used to incomplete sentences and bad grammar that it doesn’t matter? Try putting some of those cute abbreviations and smiley faces in a cover letter with your resume and see what happens. You’ll be in the unemployment line until you’re drawing Social Security! Or put poor grammar in a letter to a customer and they’ll be looking for a new supplier.

Herb Kelleher, former CEO of Southwest Airlines, once said, “When customers see coffee stains on our pull-down trays, they think we don’t do our engine maintenance right.” Show lack of competence in one skill and people will question your competence in every other skill.
Writing skill matters. It can have a major impact on your career and your overall success. This blog is going to present you with some things you can do to quickly and with little effort significantly improve your business writing skill and improve your overall career opportunities. Read on.
