My name is Tom and I have just retired as a Sql Server 2005 programmer. I was doing a lot with database design and data cube creation. Now that I am retired, I want to do a personal project. I have 75 or 80 thousand Old Time Radio shows in mp3 format. I would like to put them in a relational database (Postgre or MySQL). I am thinking about putting hyperlinks into a table along with some other descripter info and building an Access 2007 front-end project. I have some Transact SQL experience and have been creating Access front-ends for years. I have initially chosen Postgre because of it's Stored Procedure capability but don't really know the first thing about it. This sounds like a great forum to get some help. :)
